Under Armour is taking its relationship with Gunna to the next level.
The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Atlanta rapper has officially been named Under Armour’s Global Brand Ambassador and Creative Director of P-Star, a new creative platform built around footwear, apparel, community initiatives and cultural storytelling.
The appointment expands Gunna’s role with Under Armour beyond traditional brand ambassadorship, giving him a direct hand in shaping the creative vision of P-Star.
The partnership reflects Gunna’s growing connection to fitness, running, football, fashion and wellness. His Wunna Run club has also become a major part of his movement-focused community work.
“P-Star is really an extension of how I live — always evolving, staying disciplined and pushing myself in every area of my life,” Gunna said. “Under Armour understands that vision and has given me the space to build something that brings together style, performance and community.”
P-Star Collection Set to Debut
The first P-Star collection is scheduled to launch August 27, 2026, featuring 14 pieces inspired by Gunna’s everyday lifestyle, including heavyweight tees, shorts, sweats and football-inspired HeatGear styles.
Leading the footwear portion of the launch is the Under Armour Scorpio, Gunna’s first official footwear collaboration with the brand.
The Scorpio features UA HOVR cushioning and will debut in a special “Gunna” colorway. The sneaker is expected to receive a highly limited release through A Ma Maniére Atlanta before a wider release in 2027.
Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank praised Gunna’s evolution, pointing to his discipline, creativity, wellness focus and community-building efforts as key reasons for the expanded partnership.
With P-Star, Gunna is positioning himself at the intersection of music, fashion, performance and culture, while Under Armour continues expanding its presence beyond traditional sportswear.
The first chapter officially begins August 27.
